A Message from the Principal

Dear Sandy Grove Middle Families, Staff, and Students,

I am so excited to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year as your new principal! It is truly an honor to join the Sandy Grove Middle family, and I can't wait to get to know each of you as we begin this exciting school year together.

As I begin my 28th year in education, I've spent some time reflecting on the journey that brought me here. I was fortunate to spend 14 wonderful years teaching students in grades 3–5, followed by four years as an instructional coach and the last nine years serving in school administration. Throughout my career, I've learned one thing that has always proven true: the best schools are built when we work together, support one another, and always keep students at the center of everything we do.

That's exactly why I'm so excited to be part of the Sandy Grove community. It truly takes a village to help our students succeed, and every one of you—our amazing staff, supportive families, and incredible students—plays an important role in making our school a great place to learn and grow.

This year's theme is "Working Together to Achieve Big Goals," and I couldn't think of a better way to describe what we can accomplish as a team. Together, we'll continue striving for excellence every day as we work toward earning our "B" school designation. More importantly, we'll focus on helping every student grow, succeed, and reach their full potential. I truly believe that when we work together, there's nothing we can't accomplish.

I am looking forward to an amazing year of learning, growing, and celebrating successes together. Please know that my door is always open. I encourage you to reach out anytime with questions, concerns, or ideas. Your input matters, and I value the partnership we share. Together, we can continue making Sandy Grove Middle the very best place for every student to learn, lead, and succeed.
