Updated Notice for 25-26 School Year

💻 Hoke County Schools Device Take-Home Program
Students have the option to take home a school-issued device to support learning at home.

This is not required—students can use personal devices (laptop, tablet, desktop) at home.

Platforms like Seesaw, Canvas, Clever, and NCEdCloud work from any internet-connected device.

Using a personal device at home helps keep school devices charged and reduces risk of damage.

📋 Want a Take-Home Device?

Participation is optional and requires a signed Device Take-Home Agreement.

Families must request the agreement using this form: Device Take-Home Opt-In Request

This form does not assign a device—it notifies the school library media coordinator to send home the official agreement. Please print copies of this agreement to send home to parents upon request.

Once the signed agreement is returned and the student has no other device or charger assigned, the device will be issued.

Device Assignment:

Students who opt in will carry their assigned Chromebook during the day.

Students who do not opt in will use a classroom-assigned device during school hours.

✔️ Acceptable Use Policy – Required for All Students

All students must have a signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) on file—whether they opt in to the Take-Home Program or use a teacher-assigned device at school.

The updated AUP can be found here: Hoke County Schools Technology Honor Code
